The Program
The 21st Century Teacher Education Initiative is a program designed and delivered by 21st Century Schools of the USA. 21st Century Schools supports systemic 21st century education implementation efforts by entering into partnerships with schools, districts, ministries of education and other educational organizations.
We develop comprehensive, custom-designed programs to enhance and support the goals of governments, ministries of education and universities in their efforts to take their country's educational systems fully into the 21st century. These programs are also available for schools and school districts in the United States as well as overseas.
This is a blended learning program, delivered both on-site and online, consisting of the following projects:

This is a blended learning program, delivered both on-site and online, consisting of the following projects:
- Program Development - we work with each client to design a custom program according to their needs.
- Professional Staff Development for Educators - delivered on-site at campuses, off-site at central venues, and through online courses and other resources via a virtual learning portal.
- Intercultural Collaboration Program - one part will be a professional development collaboration among teachers in various countries. The other part of this program is the organization of global, collaborative classroom projects in which students engage in collaborative learning with students in other countries and culture.
- Technology Integration - learning in the 21st century takes place any time and anywhere. 1:1 computing and mobile technology initiatives have swept the planet. This program will provide educators with the knowledge and skills to transition into 21st century education supported by technologies.
